Happy December Birthday!

December's a busy month for us, with Sofia's fifth birthday on the 6th of the month and Tim's 29th (for the 10th time) December 24th. We took Sofia and her closest friends to the bowling alley for her birthday (hey, it was her choice), and we're going to NYC this weekend for Tim's birthday.

Tim's Aunt Kathy and Uncle Marty sent the kids the book "Elf on the Shelf," which comes with a little elf that the kids got to name. The idea is that Max Frost moves all the time because at night while they're sleeping, he flies back to the North Pole to report on the kids' behavior. Gabe and Sofia adore Max and they love trying to find him every morning. We won't discuss how Mom, the party pooper, has to take deep breaths in the morning because this game slows down the morning routine. ;)

I'm keeping this post short because I'm short on time, but I wanted to share a handful of my favorite Sofia photos and some of my favorite Tim photos.

As much as he drives me crazy sometimes, Tim is still the world's most handsome man, wonderful partner, and most fun, spontanteous dad around. Happy birthday babe!
