A cute conversation between Gabe and me from last night:
Gabe: My teacher's nice Mom. You know how I know? A little boy in my class asked her politely to tie his shoes, and she did!
Me: (trying not to exclaim, "I'm SO impressed that you used the word "politely" in a sentence!") Wow! That IS nice, isn't it?
Gabe: Yep, she's nice, Mom.
By the way, his breakfast and lunch money envelopes were nowhere to be found in his backpack, so I'm hopeful that his story yesterday about not paying for his food was made up. Sometimes he tells some doozies for shock value.
When I dropped off Sofia this morning at her new school, her teacher said, "She is a GREAT talker!" And I noticed they were calling her "Fia," which apparently Sofi told them to do. That's super cute and it's a nickname Gabe has given her. We actually only noticed that this past weekend with Mencken and Adina -- that Gabe calls her Fia. Because I'm lazy and haven't uploaded all the photos from our trip to North Carolina, I'm going to rob some of Adina's, which are way better than mine anyway! Stay tuned... :D
