Dimples and goggles

Sofia Jane! What little characters! I love how cuddly our kids are!
We were at a department store when the kids realized all the columns were painted different colors, and they insisted on posing for the camera in front of every one! Here's green... :D Don't worry -- I won't post every color...

Gabe launching a "rocket" at the National Building Museum last weekend...

Fia trying on hats at J.C. Penney's....
Gabe took this photo -- he's getting better at getting our heads in the frame. LOL!

Another shot of Fia posing in a blue hat -- look at Gabe trying to get in the shot too!
Gabe with Dad at the barber's shop...

Gabe playing with the slime he made at the museum...
Making a "helicopter..."
Sofia packing our cat Dragon in her luggage so she can come to ballet with us...LOL!
Hey -- all 3 of them have red eyes! This was hilarious actually...Zoe was sitting perfectly still while Fia was dressing her up. She was actually wearing Sofia's coat in this picture, although you can't really tell. What a patient, patient and loving dog!
Last Saturday morning, I was carrying Sofia into her ballet lesson because, in typical fashion, we were running late and it was super cold when she cupped her hands around both eyes and said, "I see you through my goggles, Mom!" I busted out laughing and she buried her face in my shoulder and said, "It's not funny Mom. Don't laugh at me." Oh no. This is her new thing. She gets completely embarrassed any time I laugh. I try to tell her I can't help it; if she says something funny, I'm going to laugh and I'm not laughing AT her. Ahhh, a fun new stage in development! :) Any words of wisdom from you mommies who have been through this stage???
Tonight she was giggling and leaning in close to tell me goodnight when I said, "I'm just gonna call you dimples because of your super cute dimples." She said, "Okay, good night nipples." LOL! That's what she thought I said. OMG, kids are constant comic relief.

On another random note, we took the kids to the National Building Museum this past weekend for a national engineers event and they both loved it. Gabe and Fia launched rockets, built helicopters, made slime, took home lots of cool, free NASA posters, etc. Super fun! Thanks go to my colleague Linda who sent me an email about this totally cool, free event!

I'm also posting some recent photos. Enjoy! :D
