My sister Alana arrives from Brownsville in T-minus-7 days!!! Can't wait! I'm taking off the whole week from work. Can't wait to do that too!!! :)
I came down with bronchitis on Sunday and I'm about to quit the antibiotics I'm on. I know you're not supposed to do that, but hey, antibiotics shouldn't make you vomit and give you muscle pain, should they? I know, I know -- you're not my doctor, you're thinking. But I'm going to be a rebel and say, "Hayul No" to authority. No more Avelox, doc. The side effects are worse than the infection itself. I'd rather cope and pray the infection does not return as a SUPER bug that cannot be combatted with any ol' antibiotic. :) LOL! And hopefully I will be fit as a button (that didn't make sense, did it?) when Alana arrives.

Yay! So glad Alana is coming up to see you. I am sad that we don't all live near each other. We really should try to plan a time when we can all get together, impossible as it seems! On another note, sorry you are sick, and I know exactly what you mean about the antibiotics. When I had the lovely h-pylori a few months ago, I swear the regimen of antibiotics liked to have killed me much more than the symptoms of the disease. I stuck it out only because I was afraid if I didn't, I would get worse and have to do it again! Miserable. Hope you feel better soon!
I am looking forward to seeing Alana as well. Will she be here for your b'day? Uncle Bill Pratt will be here the end of the month, the 26th for a few days. I agree with Jane re the antibiotics. You should go back to the doc and see if he/she will put you on a different kind. I had the same trouble. You might check with Bill or Patty.
