More Compliments Last Night
I was tucking Sofia into bed last night when she reached up and grabbed me and said, "I like your boobies." Keep in mind my daughter talks like she has a New York accent. I of course immediately started laughing, and I said, "I like yours too." And she moved her hair out of the way and replied, "Do you like my earrings?" Which is hilarious because she does not have earrings or pierced ears for that matter. "Ohh, I love your earrings!" Sofia then tugged on my hair and said, "You come closer." She gave me a big hug and a kiss goodnight. I am so lucky. I have the world's cutest, funniest kids. I have to imagine every parent thinks so, but really, mine are absolutely adorable. :)

Just wanted to say that I love all of your stories! You are an "awesome" mom and your little sweeties are just darling. The photos are adorable. My girls had several memorable moments of curls gone wild when I did the sponge roller thing. Before that was the rag-rolling, which was even more hilarious. Especially on the night before school pictures. I am not sure I have been forgiven yet. LOL
Haha! Thanks Aunt Jane! I'll try to remember not to experiment the night before pictures! Didn't you have curly, CURLY hair for a while? Must've been a perm! Am I misremembering? (Always possible!) :)
Yeah, although I had very curly hair as a baby, it has just been mildly wavy through most of my life. I definitely went through a couple of perm phases, thinking those would give my hair more body. :) That it did, not to mention lots of frizz and general unruliness. I cringe at some of those photos now! I had some great 80's hair at one time. LOL
Speaking of - Jane, do you remember ironing your hair to get the frizz out?
