Prince Charming

Overheard in the car ride on the way to Fia's school this morning:

Fia: "Daddy says this is the Daddy Bus, Mom."
Me: "Sure, when daddy's driving, it's the Daddy Bus. Mommy's driving right now, so now it's the Mommy Bus."
Fia: "My daddy's cute Mom."
Me: "Yes he is."
Fia: "My daddy's beautiful."
Me: "Yep, he sure is."
Fia: "My daddy's a prince."
Me: laughing now, "uh-huh, sure thing, Baby Girl. Do you want to call and tell him what you just told me?"
Fia: "Yes, I do."

In other news....
Gabe apparently has already managed to get in a little trouble at school. He was talking with his friend in architecture class (I know, can you believe he has architecture class in Kindergarten? How cool is that?) when he was supposed to be quiet. The teacher made him and his little friend put their heads down on their arms for five minutes. Gabe said he didn't last the whole 5 minutes and Mr. McDevit made them both start their five minutes "ALL OVER AGAIN." Gabe seems impressed by Mr. McDevit though because he informed us that "houses have foundations because if they didn't, they would fall over on top of themselves." True statement little man!

And Fia is a princess-in-training. I bet that made her Daddy's morning. :) And architecture for 5 yr olds??? I almost miss school now!
